Barrafina hardly needs any introduction- just that, it's not just one of those restaurants everyone talks about that's just OK, it's real top-quality fantastically great. Now you believe me. There are specials on the menu board, as well as the classics, including in my opinion the best tortilla in London, as well as superb meat and fish dishes. All the vegetables always taste fresh and cooked to perfection, and all the dishes have a sense of balance about them.

The restaurants have bar seating, with no reservations, which just means you should turn up either just before or at opening time, or expect to wait with a drink in hand. Unsurprisingly, it fills up pretty quickly and there's a great ambience about the place as well as being able to watch the chefs prepare your dishes quickly, and with Spanish flare!

Barrafina is suitable to go in small groups, for both lunch and dinner, but go with people who really appreciate good food (and drink!)- and you'll be guaranteed a memorable and special meal.
